s studied Informatics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. For more tha
n a decade he has been assisting software developers build HL7 version 3 c
onnectivity into their systems. He is a member of the HL7 RIMBAA group\, s
pecializing in HL7 RIM-based integration architecture and system design.\n
\nEwout has been involved in the HL7 FHIR specification since its inceptio
n and has the responsibility for the .NET reference implementation thereof
. He has also created public FHIR test servers and FHIR Connectathon certi
fication tests.\n\nCombining his experience as software developer\, archit
ect and speaker\, Ewout makes sure his training courses are fun\, up-to-da

 e contacted via e.kramer@furore.com.\n\nSummary of course content:\n\nBook
ing of this Workshop: Please follow this link  Jahrestagung 2015\n\nThis
training course offers a hands-on overview of the content of the HL7 FHIR
standard. It also offers guidance on how to design\, develop and test soft
ware that uses the HL7 FHIR interoperability standard\, all the way from t
he wire-format up to validation and storage. The development process of ne
w HL7 FHIR resources will not be touched upon.\n\nWho Should Attend: This
introductory training course is aimed at those involved with the design\,
development\, implementation\, deployment and support of systems that use
(or will use) the HL7 FHIR standard.\n\nAgenda of the training course:\n\n
Introduction\n	Overview of FHIR\n	Resources\, extensions and the 80/20 ru
le\n	Resources and RESTful design philosophy\n	Using REST to exchange reso
urces in XML and Json.\n	Exercise: Requesting a patient Resource\n	Datatyp
es and primitives\n	Exercise: Requesting a patient Resource\n	Bundles\n	Si
mple searches\n	Demo: Doing a simple search\n\n(note that the FHIR 1 works
hop is DSTU1 based\, since the basics are still valid for DSTU2)\n\nPrereq
uisites: The attendees are assumed to be familiar with:\n\n	XML\, Json and
  web-infrastructure protocols\,\n	Although not a requirement\, knowledge o
 f HL7 version 2 and/or HL7 version 3 will be helpful in understanding the
material\,\n	Knowledge of .NET or Java platform is helpful\, because some
of the exercises will be done in either C# or Java. Should you not have kn
owledge of either platform\, then you will be asked to partner with anothe
r attendee.\n	General principles of data modeling\,\n	General software dev
elopment principles like object orientation\, databases\, layered software
  design.\n\n&nbsp\;
