SUMMARY:IHIC2016 (International HL7 Interoperability Conference)
DESCRIPTION:The 16th International HL7 Interoperability Conference (IHIC 20
 16) will be held from 13-15 June 2016 in Genoa\, Italy. The meeting will b
 e hosted by HL7 Italy\, with support from HL7 Germany as permanent IHIC su
 pporter - other HL7 Affiliates are invited to join the supporters’ team.
  The motto of the 2016 conference is\nInteroperability is more than just t
 echnology\nThe IHIC is a forum for implementers and scientists to present 
 and discuss concepts\, models and implementations for innovative interoper
 able e-Health solutions. The conference aims to play the role of an interf
 ace between science\, research and practice with regards to interoperabili
 ty in the health and social care domain to share experiences and best prac
 tices. It will present scientific papers on the one hand and demonstration
 s\, practice reports\, success and failure stories on the other hand.\nBas
 ed on the good experiences gained at IHIC 2015\, the conference will start
  with a Tutorial Day\, pushing the dissemination of knowledge about HL7 gl
 obally. One highlight of the conference will be the announcement of the 
 “Joachim W. Dudeck Award” for the best paper of a young author. More d
